The board itself is beautifully inlaid wood, with 2.125" squares and only 0.75" thick, just like a regular board! The pieces are Staunton design, and are made from Sheesham and Maple. The king height is 3.75", making this a FIDE endorsed tournament chess set.
The DGT sensory board includes all the necessary cables and software required to get up and running, and is incredibly reliable. Moving pieces is as simple as picking them up! There's in even a slot to connect a DGT XL Clock (sold seperately).
